About Marry Me In Spring
Whether you are celebrating a birthday, a marriage, a new baby, a first home or a graduation, Marry Me In Spring was created to help you remember the meaningful moments that add up to a lifelong story & to celebrate the ones you love most.
Meet The Artist
I'm Catherine and for as long as I can remember I have been drawing. I drew on the corners of my notes in class, napkins at restaurants and bulletins at church. I have always had an interest in fashion and so I pursued a degree in Apparel Design at Baylor University. There I began to understand illustration and have fallen in love with this form of art.
Things I love
I love my Jesus, my family & my friends. I love all things denim and I'm always on the search for the perfect overalls. I love antiquing, breakfast all the time, old movies, audiobooks, country music in the summertime, blue and white everything and I have an addiction to rearranging furniture.
The Story Behind The Paint
When I look back on photographs and pictures from the past I can vividly recall the feelings I felt in those moments and the memories that were being made. My tendency is to quickly forget all that God has done in my life. I forget that He remains faithful, even when I don't. My illustrations help me mark important moments in my life and remind me of His faithful character. My desire is to create art that will be an Ebenezer in your life- A piece of art that will remind you of God's goodness, grace and faithfulness, which will in turn lift your eyes to the Maker of this world and give Him the glory He deserves.
"If we are faithless, He remains faithful— for He cannot deny himself."
2 Timothy 2:13
“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3: 21-23
"Many O Lord are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak to tell of them, they would be too many to declare."
