My goal this Christmas is to remember and truly rejoice over the Indescribable Gift of Jesus Christ. He is Immanuel, God with us. He came to save us from our sin so that we can live for eternity with Him. We don't have to fear, we don't have to worry, we don't have to be perfect. He came to rescue us from our sin so that we can live the rest of our lives glorifying Him! This Christmas my mom and I are hand painting Christmas bells to celebrate over 250 names of Jesus Christ. He is our friend, our Counselor, our King of Kings, our Prince of Peace and so much more! That is truly amazing! I hope that these names of Christ will touch your heart this Christmas and remind you that if you have accepted this free gift from God, you can have eternal life and rest in the fact that you are taken care of by the Mighty God and Lord of Lords!
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:5-10
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:16-18
